One of my best memories of grandpa was when he was in the hospital at Queens and I was visiting him. It was only him and I so I got to hear how he came to Hawaii and also how he met my grandmother. It was such a joy to hear his stories and hearing his stories with a smile on his face. Grandpa, you are missed and will forever be in our hearts. I’m glad that you got to meet your great granddaughter.

Never met him but know him through my mom Dolores Santiago. She has a lot of wonderful memories of him. He was my uncle and I wish I had that chance to met him. My family has our deepest condolences for your loss.
The first time I met your dad,was on his wedding day held at the Kawaiha'o Church steps! He had the most beautiful smile on his face. After all, he was marrying the love of his life!
