Felicitas Orpilla Aguilar's Obituary
With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Felicitas "Fely" Orpilla Aguilar, on June 2, 2026, at the age of 85.
Born on July 10, 1940, Fely was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She dedicated her life to loving and caring for those around her. She was an elementary school teacher whose patience, kindness and passion for education touched the lives of countless children.
As a mother, Fely was the heart of our family, whose love was as selfless as it was steadfast. She always put her children first, leaving us with a lifetime of warmth and devotion that we will remember and treasure forever.
Fely took great pride in preparing meals that brought family and friends together, tending to her garden, and filling her home with song. For as long as she was able, she remained devoted to these simple joys, finding her greatest happiness in cooking, gardening, singing, and spending precious time with the people she loved most.
Though she is gone, her legacy lives on in the beautiful memories we cherish, in every heart she touched, and in the love she poured into our lives each and every day.
She is survived by her children Winston (Luzviminda) Aguilar, George (Zara) Aguilar, Delamor (Evelyn) Aguilar Jr., Medie (Juanito) Bautista and Henry (Kathryn) Aguilar; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Fely's life will be held on July 10, 2026, at 5 PM in Mililani Memorial Park Makai Chapel. Family, relatives and friends are warmly invited to join us as we honor and celebrate her remarkable life.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we are eternally grateful for the boundless love she shared and the invaluable lessons she leaves behind. She will remain alive in our memories and in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love her.
May her beautiful soul rest in eternal peace.
