Floyd Burns Obituary
Floyd F. Burns, passed away at home in Pearl City. Born in Arkansas to parents H. Thad and Rosie Burns. He served in the Navy and was stationed in Hawaii and Kwajalein. After that, he worked at Tripler Army Provost Marshal Office and Pearl Harbor Naval Base Police. In 1965, he joined the Honolulu Police Department. He served in various capacities in Patrol, Traffic, CID, JCPD and then retiring as a Lieutenant from Research and Development. From 1994 - 2001, he worked at the U.S. Marshal Service (Bankruptcy Court.)
Survived by wife: Diane and daughters: Michelle Burns (HI) and Kelly Burns South (TN).
