This is the obituary I wrote for my grandma that she deserves. Frances Agosto, née Robino, aged 87, passed into eternal rest on Monday, March 11, 2024. Born on October 3, 1936, in Wahiawa, Hawaii, she was a woman of warmth, whose love for her family knew no bounds.Renowned for her culinary expertise and her zest for life, Frances was a masterful cook whose recipes brought comfort and joy to all who had the privilege of tasting them. Her infectious love for salsa music and dancing was emblematic of her spirited personality.Frances is survived by a family who adored her deeply; her children: Angeline Tripp-Willis, Anita Willis, Ruby Vega, Demetrius Agosto, Damien Agosto, Jason Agosto, and Jeremy Agosto and her brother Paulino Basillio.She was the cherished matriarch whose guidance and affection will be deeply missed. She now joins in heaven her beloved parents Angeline Torricer and Ventura Robino, her dear siblings: Jonny Robino, Olivia Tubon, Magdalena Kaaukai, Alfredo Robino, Sonny Basilio, and her sons William K Willis and Ventura Agosto, who preceded her in death.A traditional service to celebrate the life of Frances Agosto will be held in her beloved Hawaii.
