FRANK JOSEPH DUNSTON, JR., "Jr. Boy", age 50, of Mililani, Hawaii, passed away on September 26, 2020 at home after courageously battling his second bout of cancer. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. After graduating from Mililani High School and technical school, he worked as a Marine Diesel Mechanic.
One of Frank's greatest passion was his love for football. Through his playing Pop Warner and high school football, he was able to keep his life-long friendships with his football brothers and childhood friends.
Our sincere appreciation to the doctors at Queen's Medical Center: Drs. Singh, Hoshide, Acoba, Dane, Liu, and Ariyoshi. Also, to all the nurses, pain and palliative care nurse Beth Freitas, social worker Irene Wong, case managers, therapists, financial staff and all others inadvertently missed mentioning. Thank you, also, to St. Francis Hospice.
He is survived by mother, Charlene Harada, stepfather Bruce Harada, sister Darcia Dunston, nephew Dehrian Correa, grandfather Akira Murata, grandmother Miriam Harada, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Frank J. Dunston, Sr. Private service held.
