Frank Phillips' Obituary
Frank Phillips, 91, peacefully passed away in his sleep on March 24, 2026.
Mr. Phillips was born June 3, 1934, in Waialua Hawaii to Jacinth and Lucy Castro Phillips. He retired from civil service in 1985 where he worked as a heavy machine operator. During this time, he also served in the National Guard from 1952 to 1954. After his retirement from civil service, he worked at the Peterson Egg Farm in Wahiawa until his final retirement.
In his spare time, he enjoyed crafting wooden replicas of old train engines, the heavy machines he operated and other objects with fully functioning parts. He also loved working on cars, gardening and working in his yard.
He is survived by his wife, Magdalena, his 3 daughters Audrey Neumann and her husband David, Bernadette Hammock and her husband Ken, Debbie Taylor and her husband Robert and a son Frank Phillips and his wife Joyce. He has 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. He is also survived by his sister Margie Shoemaker, a number of nieces and nephews and his hanai daughter Sharon Peterson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Jacinth Phillips and Gilbert Phillips, a sister Dorothy McKim and a son William Phillips.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 08, 2026, at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel.
Visitation begins at 9:30 am and service 10:30 am.
Burial to follow at 1:30 pm, Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery.
