Gavina Largo Tamonte, 90, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on September 2, 2023. She was born on February 19, 1933 in Pooc Talisay, Cebu, Philippines.
She is survived by sons, Ronald Tamonte, Carlos Tamonte, Jr., and Marvin (Melinda) Tamonte; daughters, Nilda Tamonte, Emma Tamonte, Lynn (Clark) Moore, and Karen Tamonte; brothers, Pol (Cora) Largo and Susing (Phoebe) Largo; sister, Leonie La Rosa; 12 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at St. John Apostle & Evangelist Church, Mililani, Hawaii. Visitation begins at 9:15 am; and service at 10:30 am. Committal Service 1:00 pm at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
