George Ai, Sr. Obituary
GEORGE KEKUAWELA AI, SR., 90 Beloved Dad, Papa and Tutu Man of Haleiwa passed away on August 9, 2018 peacefully at home. He was born in Kaupo, Maui. He worked for Kaupo Ranch, Hawaiian Pine Ranch, 37 years for Meadow Gold Dairies of Kawailoa, Northshore Cattle Co. and Ranch Manager for Kawailoa Ranch. He was a past member of Waialua Hawaiian Civic Club for many years and was also inducted into the ‘Paniolo Hall of Fame’ in 1999. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Waialua ward.
He is survived by his sons: George (Kehau-deceased) Ai, Jr., Keith Leialoha Ai, Paul (Rosalie) Auna, Paul Lanikai Auna, Jr. (deceased). Daughters: Melody Leimomi Viernes (deceased), Blossom Maile (Val-deceased) Adric, Sherry Punani (Donald) Ramos, Darlene (Filiberto) Ai-Lopez, Paulette (Tai) Enesi, Paula (Stacy) Cuesta.
Brother Simeon Kuulei-deceased (Gloria) Kamai and sister Audrey (Paul) Horalan.
Grandchildren: George K. Ai, lll, Greg Kalani Ai, Gary K. Ai, William “Boboy” Viernes, Jashua Viernes, Kekoa Viernes (deceased), Anuenueokalani Ua Viernes, Ikaikamakani Viernes, Pomaikalani Viernes, Valerie “Kaleio” Caminos, Ellen Hooikaika, Valentine Ekolu Adric, Elvin Adric, Alika Adric, Kuiokalani Ramos, D’Ann Ramos, Daralyn Ramos, Kelly Nery, Bradley “Ole” Morita, Keith Leialoha Ai, Jr., Angel A. Auna, Paul K. Auna, Jr., Daniell K. Alewine, Lanikai G. Auna, Kuuleialoha A. O. Enesi, Taiafo Tuua Enesi, Jr., Enese Tyrone Enesi, Landon G.K. Cuesta, Krayton Keoki Cuesta, Jaydon Kamakana Stacy Cuesta and Amberlyn Hokulani Cuesta.
50 great grandchildren, 19 great-great grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5:30 pm Monday October 8, 2018 at Mililani Memorial Park's Mauka Chapel followed by wake service at 6:30 pm.
Funeral visitation will be 10:00 am Tuesday October 9, 2018 at Mililani Memorial Park's Mauka Chapel followed by funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will be 12:30 pm Tuesday October 9, 2018 at Mililani Memorial Park cemetery.
