George “Keoki” Anguay, 70, passed away peacefully at home on November 27, 2019. Keoki was the youngest of 13 children born to Hilarion Sr. & Illuminada Anguay. He is survived by his brothers: Richard, James (Rosemary), Chris (Connie), David (Aurora), his sister: Eleanor Senn, brother-in-law: Robert Dittman, sister-in-law: Carol & numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts & uncles. His brothers: Hiliarion Jr. (Eva), Ralph, Larry, Joseph Sr., and his sisters: Josephine, Faye (Jordan) Martin, and Jane Dittman predeceased him.
Keoki worked at Paradise Cove Luau for 39 years, as a Hawaiian Arts & Craftsman. He enjoyed entertaining guests with his outgoing personality and talent for weaving Lei Po’o and coconut fronds. He loved and respected the Hawaiian culture, language, song & dance. He took great pride in being able to speak the Hawaiian Language, and in his past performances with Hula Halau o Mililani.
He also graduated from beauty school, and loved to create new hairstyles for his family on special occasions. He worked for a time at La Roy’s Hairstyling
Keoki loved his family, and was especially close to his sister Jane. When she unexpectedly passed away in March, and he was diagnosed with cancer shortly after, he requested having a dual service if he didn’t make it till her first anniversary. Honoring his wishes, services for Keoki and his sister, Jane Dittman, will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020 at Immaculate Conception Church in Ewa Villages. Visitation 9:30am, Mass 10:30am, and lunch to follow in the parish hall. Inurnment at Mililani Memorial Park for Keoki at 2pm.
