Mr Anzai was my DECA Advisor in 1981-1982. He also chaperoned our DECA trip to Chicago to compete nationally. He was such a cool teacher, so easygoing and knowledgeable. We even traveled to Northern California and visited Berkeley and Fisherman's Wharf.

George or as Hideo would say, “Shige”- was a devoted grandfather and an adoring husband to his beloved Edna. We always looked forward to being with them as we would laugh and joke around. The two brothers would always stand apart and talk story once we were pau eating…and now, the three Anzai brothers are reunited and talking story once again!
Uncle George was a quiet pillar, strong and caring of his family. His humor was very wry and funny. I did not see him often, but when we did I really appreciated how he was able to observe, be thoughtful, even in the most crazy noisy family gatherings. He will be missed. RIP
