GeriWas always very poised. Never heard her raise her voice. If anything she was always laughing. She was generous. She was always kind to me and my sister. She was also a very private and sensitive person. She was one of Jehovah's Witness and I'm sure she brought praise to our god.
My heart is heavy yet l know that Geri is comforting me from the other side with the same warmth she always gave to me. Ever the constant Cheerleader, she was generous in her love, sharing and giving her all.
We often spoke of when we first met. Of course it was at Waipahu High School back in 1969-1970. We only noticed each other, and l came to know her a little more during Senior Year. But it was years and years later at a gathering at Shirley Cambe’s. Then the Class of 1971 Reunion Meetings which turned into more or least a close group of Classmates who ended up doing an Alaskan Cruise in 2008. What a Blast. Geri became pretty much our photographer in later gatherings. She had the most awesome digital photo book, a hobby she took to with care and creativity beyond my imagination (she started with her granddaughter Taylor what cute photos and beautiful subject)
Geri will forever stay in heart and live on in my thoughts and memories till the day l join her. My love and gratitude goes beyond your knowledge unless you have had the privilege of knowing this precious person. She lived a life her brother Jesus would be proud and happy she was his disciple, a true follower of that great commandment “To Love One Another as l have loved you” Geri Loved with all her ♥️ heart.
