Glenn taught me about faithfulness and constance, qualities he embodied and, I suspect, blessed everyone with - thank you, Jesus!
Glenn was my mother's God son. That he sent her a greeting card every year, was how I came to know of him. He was closer in age to my older brother and sister, whom Glenn knew and had interacted with personally. He told me that his mother was the first friend that my mom made when she arrived in hawaii after immigrating from the Philippines as a war bride in 1947. At his own mom's, funeral he was so caring towards my mom who was in her 90's then. He demonstrated for me, by his example, how I needed to tenderly respond to my mom's care. I will forever remember his kindness and respectful concern for her.
