GLICERIO GOO
At age 95, Glicerio Goo passed away on August 10, 2018. He was born in Burauen, Leyte, Philippines. He served in the US Navy during the Korean war and worked in the US military and civil service for 40 years. Some of his service vessels included were USS Valley Forge, USS Philippine Sea, USS Shangri-la, and the USS Telfair APA 210 - LST 822.
His hobbies were photography, videography, carpentry, dancing, gardening, and listening to music. He was the life of the party, the music DJ, the family cameraman, and always the family troublemaker. Glicerio was vivacious, outdoorsy, eccentric, and always on the go to where you are always asking “where did he go”. He loved being in nature and spending time with his family. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife Emilia 'Edna' Malolot Goo; son Rodney M. (Donna) Goo; daughters Sharleen (George) Turner, Beverly (Michael) Goo-Lindo; 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 8:30 am Monday October 1, 2018 at Our Lady of Good Counsel (Pearl City). The church mass is at 11 am and burial is at 12:30 pm at Mililani Mortuary cemetery.
