Tita Gloria (and Tito Joey) were family to me. When I newly immigrated from the Philippines, they welcomed me into their lovely home and treated me like one of their children. I have not met anyone as kind, welcoming and forgiving as Tita Gloria. My heart breaks that I wasn’t there for her last days but I hope that she knows that I will have her in my heart and mind always. Sending prayers and big hugs to the entire family!
