Goldrino Tagavilla Balatico, 86, of Waipahu, Hawaii passed away on November 29, 2021. He was born in Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte, Phillipines.
He is survived by his wife, Alma Batuyong Balatico; daughters, Alma Linda "Lynne" (Sonny) Agbalog, and Amieland Singh; and 2 grandchildren.
Goldrino attended Gabaldon Elementary School, Pasuquin Provincial High School, and the University of the East in Manila where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.
In the Philippines he was an accountant for the Philippine Christian College, Sr. Accountant at Hi-Marketing Corporation, General Manager at Acacia Enterprises, Inc., and then a Consultant with South East Asia Development Corp. In Hawaii he was an accountant with the Department of Health, Developmental Disabilities Division and the Department of Labor. He retired as an Accountant V – Administrative Services Ofc – Workforce Investment Act Unit with the Department of Labor. He served 25 years with the State of Hawaii.
