Guadalupe B. Reyes
February 4, 1934 — December 26, 2019 (age 85)
The late Guadalupe B. Reyes of Waipahu, HI, passed away on Thursday, December 26. Beloved wife of Ruben Reyes. Loving mother of Juan Reyes III, Michael (Lolita) Reyes, David (Gina) Reyes, Jane Paulin, Ann (Bill) Haug, Lorraine (Robert) McLees, and Rugen Reyes. Beloved grandmother of Nicole (Don) Kelleher, Alex Haug, Kevin Paulin, Chris Haug, Monica Reyes, Lance Reyes, Eagan McLees, Melissa Reyes, William McLees, and David John Reyes, Jr. Cherished great grandmother to Lincoln Kelleher, and a kind and wonderful aunt to many nieces and nephews. Dear friend and neighbor to many. Preceded in death by parents Segundo and Catalina Borlagdan.
Guadalupe had devoted her life to God and her family. She was a generous, nurturing soul who placed the needs of others above her own. No one was ever hungry when they were at her home. Plants, trees and shrubs thrived under her care in the gardens she cultivated, the colorful blooms and fruiting trees a reflection of her love of Creation. Her infectious laugh, exuberance, and positivity will be missed by those whose life she touched.
