Harold Hirakawa, Sr. Obituary
Harold "Boxer" Kupahu Hirakawa, Sr., 72, of Waianae, Hawaii, passed away on June 9, 2023. He was born on February 18, 1951 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
His hobbies are: surfing, canoe surfing, throw netting and singing karaoke.
He is survived by wife, Jennifer Hirakawa; sons, Harold Kupahu Hirakawa, Jr. (Traisha) and Wayne Grimes Ha'o II Hirakawa (Geraldine); daughter, Joy Ku'ulei Lani Peterson (Pumpkin); brothers, Lono Hirakawa, Kalani Hirakawa, Morris S. Hirakawa, Joseph Keopuhiwa III, Samuel Keopuhiwa (Joann), Ruben Keopuhiwa (Laurie) and Peter Keopuhiwa (Gloria); sisters, Madeline Ackerman (Tom), Leilani Frias; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; hanai parents, Buff & Momi Keaulana; and three hanai grandchildren.
Harold is predeceased by daughter, Theresa Tanya Kupahu Keopuhiwa Hirakawa.
Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Visitation begins at 5:30 pm; and service at 6:30 pm.
Scattering of Ashes will be at Makaha Surfing Beach on August 27, 2023 after services at 10:00 am. Please bring chairs and loose flowers.
