Helena A. Sadaya, 71, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2024. Born on November 23, 1952 in Bacolod City, Philippines, she was the beloved daughter of the late Gregorio Sadaya and Aguida P. Aguilar.
Helena was a woman whose love and nurturing spirit knew no bounds. She touched the lives of many, including raising children not her own with unwavering dedication and selflessness. She provided love, support, and guidance to everyone she encountered, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.
Helena’s life was a testament to faith, hope, and perseverance. Her character reflected the teachings of Romans 12:12: "Joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer." Even in times of hardship, she remained strong, unwavering in her trust in God's plan.
She is survived by her siblings: Renato Sadaya, Maripil Nacionales, Wilfredo Sadaya, Rizalde Sadaya, Orlando Sadaya, Gregorio Sadaya, Jr., and Dionarissa Tabion. She was preceded in death by her brothers Wenceslao Sadaya and Oscar Sadaya.
Helena will be remembered as a loving sister, a devoted caregiver, and a steadfast woman of faith. She leaves behind a legacy of love, hope, and resilience that will continue to inspire and guide her family and all those who knew her.
May she rest in peace, embraced in the arms of the Lord she faithfully served, forever rejoicing in the presence of Jesus.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Mililani Mortuary Downtown Chapel. Visitation begins at 9:30 am and service at 10:30 am.
Burial to follow, 2:00 pm at Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery.
