Henrietta Mano-Marino Obituary
Henrietta Amoi Mano-Marino, 83, of Kapolei, passed away on January 27, 2022 in Kailua-Kona. She was born on May 16, 1938 in Honolulu. She is a retired caregiver, long-time kumu hula, and one of the early ambassadors of SGI Hawaii. She was a fierce fan of Wahine Volleyball and Warrior Football.
She is survived by children Jessica K. Mano (Francis Mokuohai), Joseph K. Mano II, Linda P. Marino, Christine L. Gilson (Gary), Valentine K. Marino Jr. (Kirsten), James V. K. Marino Sr., Jarrod M. Mano (Cynthia), Travis K. Marino, David K. Marino, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Valentine K. Marino Sr., and followed in death by her son Jason K. Mano.
Services will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Visitation begins at 9:30am, and service starts at 10:30am. Light snacks and refreshments to follow. Inurnment will be held at 9:30am the next day, Monday, June 26, 2023 at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.
