Henry K. Ahsing Jr., of Ewa Beach, HI, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2024, at the age of 67. Born on January 21, 1957, Henry lived a life full of love, dedication, and service to those around him.
An avid waterman and fisherman, Henry had a deep and abiding connection to the ocean. The water was his second home, a place where he found peace and joy.
Henry lived his life with a spirit matched only by his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will always be remembered for keeping the tradition of kalua and cooking for family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry K. Ahsing Sr. and Josephine Ahsing, his brother Abraham Ahsing Sr., his daughter Larissa Tuifao, and his wife, Michelle.
He will be deeply missed by his children, Chris Ahsing (Becca) and Steve Tuifao, and his beloved grandchildren: Joseph, Larchelle, Pati, Krischelle, Loa, Matteo, and Makenna. Henry is also survived by his siblings, Nora (Frank Sr.), Ivy, Aoe, Ann (Dan), and George (Tanya), who will forever hold his memory close in their hearts.
Henry's legacy of family and vibrant personality will continue to live on through those he touched. His warmth, generosity, and unwavering support for his loved ones will never be forgotten.
May he rest in peace, embraced by the ocean and the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Wake service will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel.
Visitation begins at 5:30 pm and service 6:30 pm
