HENRY “HANK” YIM LEE, 95, of Honolulu passed away on June 1, 2018 in Honolulu at Tripler Army Medical Center. Hank was the third of seven children, born in the old Mojave Desert railroad junction town of Ludlow (Stagg) California, March 1, 1923 to the highly respected parents of Lee Yim and Gin Shee. Hank served in the Navy in WWII on the USS Boston and USS Essex and honorably discharged in August 1946. He is preceded in death by former wife Lela Kay Lowe; long-time partner Sun Hwa Park (Toshiko); brothers: George Y. Lee, Frank Y. Lee, Chester Y. Lee; sisters: Helen L. Hee, Marjorie L. Chew, Mae L. Jong. Hank is survived by sons: David Lee, Arthur Lee, Phillip Lee, Daughter Bonnie Lee; and many nieces and nephews. Private inurnment on June 29th, 2018 at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl. Please email general inquiries to: [email protected]
