Herman Kanae Obituary
HERMAN KIYOTO KAONOHIOKALA KANAE, 90 of Mililani, Hawaii, passed away on June 28, 2019 in Waipahu. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Herman retired as a Superintendent of Operations at Hawaiian Electric Industries (HEI), was an Ali'i Nui in the Royal Order of Kamehameha, and was a Sergeant Sheriff (Reserve).
He is survived by sons Glenn (Maria) Kanae and Konrad Kanae; daughters, Sharon Pelletier, Wendy Kanae; brother, Paul Kanae; sister, Winona Lim; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5:30 pm Tuesday August 27, 2019 at Mililani Memorial Park's Mauka Chapel. Royal Order of Kamehameha Ritual Ceremony at 6:30 pm.
Burial 9:00 am Wednesday August 28, 2019 at Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery.
Casual / Aloha attire, flowers welcome.
