Our heartfelt condolences to the Rimando family, especially Manang Nora.We found pictures of Ernie and Nora with Lita (Quarto) Padilla and young Marlyn (Quarto) Shapiro and uploaded three of them to the photo section of the Tribute Wall. One of my favorite pictures was of Nora and Ernie dancing, which was taken in 1959. Nora's and Lita's families traveled to Hawaii on the same ship in 1955 from the Philippines and stayed in touch over the years. May God bless and keep you in this time of sorrow and may He grant you healing and grace. May perpetual light shine upon Ernie, and may he rest in peace. My fondest memory of Uncle Erning has to be his passion for cooking. He made the simplest food like hotdog in pork and beans look and taste like gourmet. Uncle Erning will be missed dearly.
