My condolence on the passing of Jack. He was a dear friend of my father, George Niimi. I remember Jack at our old house in Haleiwa fixing electrical problems. He never ignored me. Always greeting me like I was his friend. When Jack and Naoji Kawamata attended my father's funeral in 1999, it was as if time stood still. They both greeted me as if I was still that kid in Haleiwa. I appreciate their kindness and thoughtfulness. Jack was a good man, deserving of respect. Aloha Oe.
