JAMES YOSHIO MIYASHIRO, 77 of Waipahu passed away on August 30, 2017 in Waipahu. He was born in Honolulu. He was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator for Ideal Construction. He is survived by his wife Violona may "Nona" Miyashiro' sons Chad Miyashiro and Dave Miyashiro; step sons Bobby (Kerri) Barros, Darryl Barros, Jason Barros, Melvin Galmiche, Michael Galmiche; daughter Lori (Greg) Umiamaka; step daughter Selena (Rob) Holmberg; brothers George (Florence) Miyashiro, Bobby (Linda) Miyashiro, Wally Miyashiro; sisters Helen Yonamine, Grace Evans, Dot Pang, Betty (Sparky) Higa; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday November 4, 2017 9:30 am at Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary's Mauka Chapel followed by memorial services at 10:30 am. Inurnment?will be at 11:30 am at Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery that same day.
