Genaro (Joe) Macaraeg Obituary
Genaro (Joe) Quesada Macaraeg was born September 19, 1938 in Malasiqui, Pangasinan, Philippines. He passed peacefully with his loving family at his side on March 2, 2022 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Joe is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 56 years, Teresita J. Macaraeg and all of his six children, Gener, Eric, Jenn, Almira, Roy and Odeza. He is also survived by his loving daughter in-laws, Agnes, Nora and Bene along with his beautiful and talented grandchildren, Shayna, Angelica, Jezus, Shannelle, Alexander Erika, Abigail, Marc Angelo, Zoey, Chloe Anne and his great grandchild Aurora Haven. Joe treasured and loved his family, and he sacrificed and did his best to provide for them. Joe was a man of great character with honor and integrity with very strong family values. Joe unconditionally loved his family. Joe will forever be in our memories and our hearts. God bless Joe, may he rest in eternal peace.
Services are on Friday, May 27, 2022. Visitation 9:30 a.m. followed by Celebration of Mass at 10:30 at Saint Anthony Catholic Church in Kalihi, Honolulu. Subsequent burial service to follow at Hawaii Memorial Park in Kaneohe at 1:00 p.m.
