John Juan Basug, 85, of Waialua, Hawaii passed away on March 17, 2026. He was born on January 27, 1941 in Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
He is survived by his wife, Carlina Basug; sons, Heremias Basug, Hiloario Basug, Charito Basug, and Mario Basug; daughter, Marjorie Polendey; sister Dionicia Santiago.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Visitation begins at 9:30 am and service at 10:00 am.
Burial to follow at 11:00 am at Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery.
