John Joseph Keliiwaiwaiole, Jr. Obituary
John Joseph Keliiwaiwaiole Jr., born on October 3, 1952, in Honolulu, Hawaii, peacefully arrived at the gates of Heaven on July 27, 2024, at the age of 71.
John is survived by his devoted wife, Lorraine, and his large, loving family, which includes 10 children, 12 grandchildren, and a great-grandson. He is also remembered by his two brothers and two sisters.
A dedicated professional, John spent his life driving school buses, tour buses, and semi-trucks, retiring after 38 years of service with Honolulu Disposal Service. His passion extended beyond his work. In his youth, John enjoyed playing baseball and was a valued member of the Aiea Bowling Team, which extended into adulthood. He was an avid enthusiast of hot rods and vehicle detailing. John cherished his time with his grandchildren and found great joy in being with his family, which was truly the heart of his life.
In 2000, John gave his heart to the Lord and became a Mighty Man of God, actively attending Ark of Safety Christian Fellowship, a community that deeply resonated with him.
John’s legacy is one of love, dedication, and faith. He will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
