Condolences and prayers to DeeAnne Imes-Amas and the Amas family for your loss. Jon is with God, our Heavenly Father. My family, the Alison’s, use to party and camp out with the Amas family back in the 1960’s and 1970’s; lot’s of fond memories. Although I am 7 years younger than Jon, he was always friendly, kind and funny; a big heart he had. I some him back in the eighties at Ft. Street Mall while he was transporting newspapers. He stopped what he was doing and we talked a little while. He was still the same cool, caring, honest and friendly guy. Hold on to the memories and God’s gift that Jon came into our lives. Aloha and take care. Praise Jesus!! Dave Alison
Jonathan I will always remember all the good time we had together you and I came good friend May the good lord bless you always and when my time come I will meet you up in heaven ( Your Very Best Friend, Phillip Palmero )
Jonathan was my classmate from 7th grade at Waianae Elementary then from 8th-12th at Waianae High. I will always remember him as the class clown ! He always had us laughing . He was also my “husband†in our 10th grade class play with my kid sister Eldan playing our daughter. Lots of great school memories. Prayers to his Ohana for their loss. Love you all, Carin Renie Lee Bauder
