JOSE BATARA, SR. 69, of Kapolei passed away on November 8, 2017 in Kapolei. He was born in Hoolehua, Molokai Hawaii. He retired from B&C Trucking Co LTD after 26 years of service.?He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He is survived by his wife Robin L. Gusich-Batara; sons Jose (Norma Nicolas) Batara, Jr., Jonathan (Wendy) Batara, Bradley (Floris) Batara, Justin (Cheryl) Batara, Nathan (Nataliya) Batara, Zachary (Chasidy) Batara, and preceded in death by son James (Vanessa) Batara; survived by daughter Jolene (Richard) Baugh; 17 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers Roger (Elizabeth) Batara, Arturo (Abby) Batara, Anselmo (Rosie) Batara; sisters Linda Olsen and Ana Batara Valdez (Keith Heiner). Visitation will be 5:30 pm Monday December 11, 2017 at Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary's Mauka Chapel followed by wake service at 6:30 pm. Inurnment will be 11:30 am Thursday December 14, 2017 at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (2177 Puowaina Dr, Honolulu, HI). Aloha attire. No flowers please.
