Josephine Orillo Obituary
Josephine Sibonga Orillo, 98, of Haleiwa, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025. Born on July 19, 1926, in Lahaina, Maui, she was the fourth oldest of eleven children. She is preceded in death by her parents Galo Sibonga, Gertrudes Tapales and her step father Elias Baltonado. Her siblings: Valentina Sibonga (Abat/Yadao), Richard Sibonga, Joshua Sibonga, Juanita Sibonga (Felicilda), Trecita Baltonado (Secretario), Dolores Baltonado (Kamaka), Wilma Baltonado (Corr), and Fred Baltonado.
Josephine was a devoted wife to the late Stephen Generalao Orillo Sr., with whom they raised four beloved children and built a legacy grounded in love and service.
She is survived by her Sons Hilary Orillo (Venassa) and Cornel Orillo (Roxanne); Daughter-In-Law Carlene Orillo (Stephen Jr.); Daughter Marlene Diego (Larry); 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; Sisters Floserfida “Flo” Piena of Whitmore, Oahu; Angelina “Ann” Seagraves of Tampa, Florida; Sister-In-Laws Harriet (Joshua) Sibonga of Makawao, Maui and Nancy (Fred) Baltonado of San Ramon, California; Brother-In-Law Hymie (Juanita) Felicilda of Makawao, Maui.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by a service at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place at 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery.
Her memory lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
