JUANITA BARBARA PESTANO CHUN
Juanita, age 82, was born in Pahala Ka'u, Hawaii and passed peacefully on May 24, 2020 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Born to John-Bob Pestano and Emma Pi'ilani Hauani'o Pestano, Juanita was the youngest of 8 children. Siblings: Margie, Clarence, Lily, John, Rita, Moses and Shirley. She attended Pahala Elementary and graduated from Ka'u High School. Juanita was a beautician on Oahu; worked at Flo's Dress Shop in Waipahu and also served the Army for 2 years as a pediatric nurse. Juanita met her husband of 52 years in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Juanita is survived by husband William Chun; children, Donnie Chun (predeceased) and Darren Chun (Josieline); grandchildren, Justin Chun, Shenah Chun, Shavelle Chun, Logan Chun & Megan Chun; great-grandchildren, Aulani Garcia, Malia Garcia, Lehua Garcia, Leimana Garcia, Kau'i Garcia, Makaio Garcia, Nakoa Chun, Kekona Chun, Alana Chun & Jaydah Chun.
