Julie Irenio Lucero's Obituary
Julie Lucero, 68, passed away on January 14, 2026. She was born in Camiling, Tarlac, Philippines, and was the second youngest among her siblings.
She is survived by her loving husband, Francisco Lucero; two sons Franklin Lucero, Francisco (Jericca) Lucero Jr., and two daughters Leslie Anne (Mikii) Abuel, and Vanessa (Emmanuel) Angeles and her six beloved grandchildren Paula, Lucas, Levi, Bella, Enzo, and Lexi.
Julie devoted her entire life to her husband and four children. A truly hands-on mother, she expressed her love through caring for her family and cooking their favorite meals. She had a passion for home décor, especially vases and florals. She loved fashion, wearing floral and bright clothing, and a collections of shoewear to match her outfit. She is also fond of collecting gold jewelry and found joy in crocheting.
In late 2006, Julie and her family migrated to Honolulu, Hawaii, where she embraced her new community. She began working at Slipperhouse and later at 7-Eleven, where she became an assistant manager. Known for her strong work ethic and dedication, Julie took pride in everything she did.
Above all, she loves spending time with her grandchildren, who adored her. She will always be remembered lovingly as “Mamita" or "Nona". Julie was caring, generous, and always looked after those she loved.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel. Visitation begins at 9:00 am and service at 10:00 am.
Burial to follow at 12:30 pm at Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery.
