Julita (Julie) Guillen, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. Born on May 18, 1965, in Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, she later moved to Zambales before immigrating to the United States in 1978. Marrying her husband, Michael Guillen, on May 6, 1995 in Honolulu, HI.
Julie built a life rooted in hard work, perseverance, and devotion to her family. She graduated from Leilehua High School and later studied Accounting at Cannon Business College. She worked at Hawaiian Trust and Bank of Hawaii, where she was known for her innovation, kindness, and dedication.
She was a devoted mother to Joshua and Jasmine, who were her greatest pride and joy. She loved her two dogs, Bentley and Lexi. Julie will be remembered for her cheerful spirit, contagious laughter, strength, and love for life’s simple pleasures.
During the brightest times of life she was free spirited and wanted to embrace the times, including shopping, traveling to Las Vegas, watching TV (game shows, Mark & Kelly, Filipino dramas), and spending time with loved ones.
Her legacy of faith and courage will forever be in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
