June Shimabukuro Obituary
June Y. Shimabukuro, 80, of Pearl City, Hawaii peacefully passed away on December 8, 2021 at Ka Punawai Ola in Kapolei. She was born in Aiea, Hawaii.
Mom was extremely important to so many of us. Her family and dear friends meant the world to her. Most especially her grandson, Tyler. He lightened up her life and gave her purpose and meaning. Mom had a mission to always take care of people. At Christmas, she would always bake cookies and decorate the jars for special friends and family. We miss mom so much.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Harold Shiro Shimabukuro, Son, Shane Shimabukuro, Daughter, Harolyn Shimabukuro-Miyashiro (Greg), Grandson, Tyler Shimabukuro, Sister, Carol Ann Hoshino (Melvin), Late Brother, Gordon Ichiyama (Elsie). Private services will be held.
Mom… They say there is a reason, They say time will heal. Neither time or reason will change the way we feel. Gone are the days we used to share. In our hearts, you are always there. The gates of memories will never close. We miss you more than anyone will ever know. We love and miss you everyday. Until we meet again… Always & Forever, We Love You with all of Our Hearts.
Private service to be held.
