Justina Macadangdang Obituary
Justina Cainglit Salvosa Macadangdang was born on September 3, 1927 in Badoc, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
She was the 7th out of 8 children born to Mauricio and Aurelia Salvosa. At age 22, Justina wanted to become a professional seamstress, so she attended trade school where she studied sewing. It was there in Bacarra where Justina met future husband Alejo Macadangdang.
After Justina graduated in 1950, she and Alejo were married the following year in 1951. They had two sons Alejo Jr. and Marino; and one daughter Amel.
In 1977, their son Alejo Jr. brought his parents over to Aiea, Hawaii for a better life. Justina was briefly employed at Young Laundry. In 1980, Justina wanted to help out working families with young children, so she opened a daycare at home to care for infants and toddlers of very close families and friends.
Justina recently celebrated her 94th birthday before her passing on September 30, 2021. She is survived by her 3 children: sons Alejo Jr. (Tessie), Marino (Leoni) and a daughter Amel (James). Her legacy includes 8 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Justina was loved by many. Her beautiful smile radiated through her love for Jesus Christ! After 30 long years, she is now reunited with her love, Alejo.
