I was very saddened by the news of Karen’s passing. I ran into her a few months ago in 7-11 and we caught up in those few minutes. Working with her at DOA, I remember her as such a friendly and vibrant woman...sweet, helpful and so pleasant to be around. My heartfelt condolences to her family.
I wanted to express my sympathy to the family of Karen. I am so sorry and pray for all of you.  I worked with Karen at the Hawaii Statistical Services office from 1992 until I transferred to another office a few years later. Karen was a sweet and vibrant person, always kind and thoughtful. God bless her family and dear friends.
