She was born on May 28, 1929 to Manuita and Pulini Ati'u in Ta'u, Manu'a, American Samoa.
She is survived by her sister Fa'atalitali; son Peteru; special girls in her life, Queenie and Mareta; grandchildren, Peter (Fatu), Jonathan (Iona), Tuu, and Jasminemarie (Seepa) and great-grandchildren, Peteru, Jonathan, Joshua, Justin, Jasmine, Tuu, Zariah, Maurice, and Meilani.
