Kenneth Chun Obituary
Kenneth Hing Fai Chun, 95, of Waianae, Hawaii, passed away at home from natural causes on October 12, 2021. He was born on October 23, 1925 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
In his early years, he was a Merchant Marine and retired from the City and County of Honolulu. He loved the ocean and fishing. During the Aku fishing heyday, he was a prolific diving expert with the Aku bait nets.
Family and friends were his mainstay. Kenneth also enjoyed drawing, puzzle making and yard tending. He also loved to travel and in his lifetime he covered all the Continents. The people whose lives he touched remember a gentle, kind and generous spirit.
He is survived by his partner, Shirley L. Cordeiro; daughters, Robyn Hashimoto and Coffy Ragadio; sons, Andrew and Clayton; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Kenneth is preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer.
A Private Celebration of Life and scattering of ashes will be held.
