Mr, it was so fun having you as my teacher. You were my favorite teacher at Wahiawa Middle, and you made my 8th-grade year the best year I could have had in that school. I remember the arguments we would always have in the middle of class and the messed-up jokes you made. I wish that I had way more time to spend with you during the school year. I wish our time together wasn't over yet, so we could make so many more memories. I will never forget you Mr because you will always be in my heart. I really wish we had more time. I first met Keola when he started Starbucks. Keola was an amazing,kind hearted person you could meet. He’s always happy, jumping, making weird faces and jokes any time he sees an opportunity to make you laugh. And I can’t forget his OG chest grab he does. I’m very sad to hear that’s he’s gone. Can’t wrap my head around it. I know he’s watching over us now. Will miss you Keola. Rest in paradise my friend. You were very much loved by all of us. 🤍
Keola is my cousin and I remember him as very fun loving and silly. Keola means life and life is precious. We love him and he lives on in the way we continue to live our lives. I miss you Ola and love you always.

As a longtime friend of his maternal grandmother I always heard nothing about Keola except good things and always with pride. I saw him and his brother briefly as young boys with their doting mom taking them to get haircuts. They were so cute. He brought joy into his family and friend’s lives. He was an accomplished college graduate and teacher his students were fond of. Unfairly gone way too soon from this fallen imperfect world but not soon enough to be for God to be with Him in Heaven the loss must feel unendurable and I am so so sorry. Praying for God the Great Spirit of Love and Creation to cover this lovely family in Your supernatural comfort knowing someday you will meet again and it will be totally fabulous!❤️✝️🌈🌌🌅❤️
