Keone John “MO” Morreira was born in Honolulu on August 6, 1969. Died at Kaiser ER on May 13, 2025.
He was loved by many especially his fiancé, Jodie Kauilani; sons, Keoneamekekaikuhonua Mo Morreira, Kalae Jaxen Alexander Morreira; daughter, Kaimipuakealani Sky-Joey Morreira (Kona Makaula) ; parents, Russell John Keone & Yolanda Puanaala Morreira; sister, Rosselle Jo Keala Morreira Souza (Craig Souza, 1 nephew Cade, 1 niece Kenna); 2 granddaughters.
Also loved by other families (Santos, Lee, Kaleikini, Morris, Balino, Paulos, and numerous cousins, classmates, co-workers, and friends.
A graduate of St. Louis School Class of ‘87 where he played basketball, football, and baseball. Also, attended University of Washington and graduated University of Hawaii.
He worked for the State of Hawaii in the prison system at OCCC and Halawa. Started in recreation and then eventually ended as Correctional Supervisor 1.
Although you aren’t here physically, you will always be in our Hearts. Until then,Me ke Aloha, E Keone .
Memorial Service: August 28, 2025, Thursday, at Mililani Mortuary-Mauka Chapel at 8:30 AM - 2 PM.
