Kyle Ke-a Obituary
Kyle Kapono Ke-a was born on September 3, 1989 in Wahiawa and passed away on June 8, 2025 at the age of 35.
Kyle was a self-employed welder and auto body mechanic. After graduating from Leilehua High School, he worked as a welder and mechanic for Navatek, Ltd and Striker Construction before venturing off on his own. Kyle enjoyed tinkering with cars and mopeds, tattooing, fishing, camping, cooking and eating seafood dishes, and hanging out with family and friends.
Kyle is survived by his fiance, Keila Hauki; sons, Triten Ke-a and Ka’ena Ke-a; daughter, Journey Ke-a; parents, Kenneth Jr. & Marie Ke-a; brothers, Jason (Alissa) Baligad and Nicolas (Katherine) Ke-a; hanai brother, Kyle (Kristy) Chee; nieces, Carlee, Aliya, Saidee and Khloee; nephews, Koltin and Karson; grandmothers, Helen Ke-a and Janet Baligad.
Kyle was predeceased by his grandfathers, Kenneth Ke-a, Sr. and Illustre “Al” Baligad.
Kyle’s celebration of life service will be held on Friday, August 29th at Mililani Mortuary, Mauka Chapel. Visitation at 5:30pm and service to follow at 6:30pm.
