Aloha my name is Kimberlee Sang. I'm in shock. My Mom Elaine Love was a close friend of Laurie's and I met Laurie back in the early 80s while working in the law office. She was a true Angel. She was by my side when my Mom passed in 2016. She would put flowers on Moms grave and send me pictures. May God Bless her Ohana that she loved dearly. My heart is sore. I'm so sorry we lost contact the last few years.
Laurie was such a beautiful, genuinely and authentically kind, warm-hearted person. She cared so much for her ohana. Laurie reminds me of my sister Sweetie, so loving and caring, and always helping everyone. I was saddened and shocked when I heard she passed, so hard to believe. Cousin Laurie, thank you so much for loving my dad and my mom, my siblings and the rest of our Ohana. God knows we have a lot. Thank you for loving me. Rest in peace and in love. Love Always,Your cousin Tita
Love you cousin…so surreal that you are no longer with us here on earth. There were so much more that I wanted for you. I so appreciated all the kÅkua and mana’o you readily gave. You were always there for our ‘ohana both the Stevens and the Poe. We could always count on you and you never missed any important ohana event. My heart is sore… I will miss you…May God be with all of us as we grieve your departure but celebrate your life and am grateful for you. Aloha ‘oe e Laurie
I met Laurie at the law office of Rice, Lee & Wong ("RLW") around 1986. She worked in the Litigation Dept. & I worked in the Real Estate Dept. Although we've since left RLW & worked at different law firms, we've kept in touch ever since.Laurie was such a sweet, kind, generous person & a dear friend, who is also loyal/dedicated to her family & friends! She was always there for me, especially during special occasions, even if it was a last minute notice! What I admired about Laurie when it came to work, was that she was smart & knowledgeable, but mostly 'cause she was calm, which I saw was a gift, especially in the legal field where it's common to have last minute things happen.I was totally shocked to hear about her passing! We've lost an angel who went back home to be w/our Lord & saviour.Laurie will be sorely missed!I look forward to seeing her again in heaven!Love You, Laurie!Aloha,Debbie Luce
