Husband, Father, Papa, Great Grandfather.
Lawrence Perreira Vidinha, 91, of Waipahu, HI, died March 16, 2023 at Queens West, Ewa, HI. Born on December 13th, 1931 to Mom, Mary Freitas and Dad, Edward Vidinhar, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
A Korean War Veteran, in artillery, stationed in Japan. He later worked at AMFAC Lumber yard. He was employed at Reynolds Metal Company as a truck driver and forklift operater in which he retired in 1997.
A People person, a jokester, loved his hobbies: fishing, watching football, Go Green Bay !, yard maintenance, plants, making aluminum can airplanes, and a regular at his favorite bars and more.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sybil, who passed away in December 2012. He has one surviving sibling, Stanley Vidinhar. He is also survived by two sons, Mark and Scott.
Son, Mark Vidinha, Wife, Louella, three children, David, Charnelle and Chalet.
Grandson, David, Wife, La'i, four great grandchildren, Kawika, Ka'ena, Mealoha, Na'ala.
Granddaughter, Charnelle, Husband, Samuel Magno, two great grandchildren, Kaimana and Kealohilani.
Granddaughter, Chalet Vidinha.
Son, Scott Vidinha.
Lawrence's last residence was Robinson Heights in Waipahu, HI.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel. Visitation begins at 8:30 am, and service at 10:00 am. Committal Service 1:00 pm at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
