LEI MAMO CHARLOTTE KAANAANA, 82 of Tacoma, Washington passed away on October 31 in Tacoma. She was born in Keanae, Maui. She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin Joy Kahue Kaanaana; sons Wendell Kahoaka, Douglas (Yvonne) Kaanaana; daughters Marvislee Easley, Luella (Etuale) Muliaga; sibings Clarence (Beatrice) Okami, Jean (Mike) Ma'ae, Raymond (lenny) Kalili Jr., Mildred (Raynard) Burks, Roymonty (Maxine) Kalili, Annie (Donald) Hubbard, Melvyn (Carmen) Kalili. She is survived by her sons Christopher (Pualani) Kaanaana, Clarence (Pam) Kaanaana, Elsworth (Pamela) Kaanaana; daughters Nettie (Samuel) Miller, Maile (Robert) Cruz, Paula (Anthony) Silva, Roxy (Basham) Kaanaana, Debora (Stanley) Alvarez; siblings Samuel (Lori) Okami, Maude (Kenneth) Lawrence, Evangeline (Robert) Daly, Paulette (Robert) Vierra, Roseline (Wayne) Kalili; 44 grandchildren, 88 great-grandchildren and 13 great great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 10:00 am Wednesday December 13, 2017 at Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary's Mauka Chapel followed by funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will be 12:30 pm Wednesday December 13, 2017 at Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery. Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
