LEROY KAANAPUOKALANI KAAWA, JR., 51 of Waianae passed away on September 17, 2017 in Waianae. He was born in Honolulu. He had a passion for hunting and was a well known truck driver. He was also known for his awesome Lau Lau's. He was a loving uncle. He is survived by his mother Barbara Ann Kaawa; brothers Alroy L. (Ronnette) Kaawa; Zecharoy K. (Bernadette) Kaawa, Roy K. (Sharon) Kaawa, Delroy B. (Hi'iaka) Kaawa, Macroy K. "Ronnie" Kaawa, Eric L. (Starlisha) Au Hoon-Kaawa; sisters Barbara Ann K. (Keith) Kaawa, Elaine K. Kaawa, Kimberly C. (Keoni) Au Hoon-Kaawa, Ihilei A. Au Hoon-Kaawa; step-children Ekaika?Kamana, Alika Chong-Kamana and Theresa Kamana; significant other Thomasine Chong. Visitation will be 5:30 pm Wednesday October 18, 2017 at Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary's Mauka Chapel followed by wake services at 6:30 pm. Casual attire and flowers are welcome.
