Levaivanu M. Karapani, 80 of Kapolei, Hawaii passed away on January 26, 2026. She was born on March 25, 1945 in Vatia, American Samoa.
She is survived by son, Misipati Karapani, Jr. (Mareta); daughter, Leilani Karapani; brothers, Uta Peniamina Afasene (Jacinta), Faresa Tali (Madeline); sisters, Lavania Ioane (Iakopo), Fuarosa Yasuda (Alvin) 7 grandchildren, She was a loving grandmother to
Trinity, Tristen, Triumph, Josiah, Jeremiah, Jireh and John.
Our mother’s devotion and prayer life was a beacon of hope that provided a spiritual covering over her children, especially her grandchildren, family and all those who shared a special bond with her. She loved to sing hymns of praise and worship. The joyful & faithful spirit she had provided comfort, wisdom and guidnace to be obedient and trust in God. Her smile, humble spirit, loving ways and caring heart will truly be missed.

Wake Service will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel.
Visitation begins at 5:00 pm and service 6:00 pm.
