LIberty I. Purganan's Obituary
Liberty Ibarra Purganan was born on March 23, 1957, in Camiling Tarlac, Philippines and passed away on March 16, 2026 in Waipahu, Hawaii.
She was one of eleven children, raised in a large and loving family that helped shape her caring and resilient nature. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend whose kindness and strength touched the lives of everyone around her. She is survived by her husband, Romeo C. Purganan; her three sons, Rizaldy, Reggie and Restie (Sheryl); and her two daughters, Lovely Joy and Luxury Joyce. She also leaves behind her seven beloved grandchildren—John Vincent, Roy, Rico, Allister Jayce, Clifford, Adelweiss, and Shania Rio—who brought her immense joy and pride.
Liberty enjoyed cooking and it was her special way of showing her love to those around her. Through every meal she prepared, she shared not just food, but warmth, care and comfort. She was also known for her generous heart, always giving selflessly and putting others before herself. Liberty will always be remembered for her loving spirit, kindness and unwavering dedication to her family. Her presence was a source of comfort, her love a guiding light and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
