Lily Bucasas Ballesteros, 70, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away on November 23, 2023. She was born on March 16, 1953 in Pangasinan, Phillippines.
She is survived by husband, Benedicto V. Ballesteros; sons, Glenn Balleteros (Elaine) and Louie Balleteros (Maggie); daughter, Jane Valencia (Ericson); brothers, Marciano Bucasas (Fely), Dominador Bucasas (Emily); sisters, Angelina Ulep, Lolita Savicki, Gloria Fernandez, Rosita Ulep; and six grandchildren.
Starting her family life in 1978, with a marriage to Benny Ballesteros, she had work various jobs in Honolulu,HI before settling with Foodland Super Market where she retired as a Manager. Raising a family of 2 boys, Glenn, Louie and a girl, Jane, she strived and worked hard to make sure everyone was taken care off and loved. Towards the last 4 years of her life, she fought off a stroke, but the instance had caused irreparable harm to her brain that worsened as the years had gone by affecting her memory and bodily control; she was in a state of sadness, disbelief, and misery over her health issues. Survived by a supportive Husband Benny Ballesteros of 40 years and family, her time on earth came to pass. We thank her for the love she radiated to everyone she met and the wonderful memories she left for us to treasure and never forget.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Visitation begins at 10:00am; and service at 11:45 am Burial to follow 12:30 pm at Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery.
