Linda Blossom Caracol's Obituary
Linda (Ermelinda) Blossom Caracol, 79, of Mililani, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 29, 1946, in Wahiawa, Hawaii from Fausto Caracol and Tircilia Edayan.
Linda was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, auntie and friend. She graduated from St Francis High School in 1964. In the same year, she was a participant in the Filipino Catholic Clubs’ Charity Queen Pageant. In her later years, she went on to earn a Master’s degree in Business Management from Anthem College. She worked most of her career as a Senior Bank Teller at Bank of Hawaii, where she was known for her work ethics and dedication to helping provide outstanding customer service.
In her free time, Linda was talented in upholstery, crocheting, a seamstress, an artist, a poetry writer, and very creative in other craft ventures. She opened a business in designing dresses and veils, creating unique bouquets, and cakes for weddings. In her later years, she opened Lahela Travel Agency and Da Boutique Shoppe. She will be remembered for her kindness, charisma, caring, persevering strength, and her unwavering love for her family and friends. These characteristics will forever be remembered and will remain in our hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Here is a poem my mom wrote while living in Kamuela, Hawaii in November 2011 which was published in the book called “Stepping Stones: The International Library of Poetry”. It was a special poem she dedicated to her four daughters and our cousin Vince Brioso who she took in and cared for.
